WIP Wednesday: What are you working on?

It's Works in Progress (WIP) Wednesday!

Which means it's time to share what I'm working on for the store or as gifts for loved ones.

I haven't been feeling good due to storms rolling in and out and no thyroid medication at the moment. So I do not have much progress to show you on either project. But, I do have some.

Jasper, artwork by Marilyn Robertson, is stitching up real fast. I almost have two legs done. He is really starting to take shape and already enjoys making people smile. Jasper is a kit (2420) by Design works that I found at a thrift store. He was started but unfortunately he had more than a few mistakes. So I unstitched what had been started then started over. He is really fun to stitch and even my cats enjoy taking a nap with, ummm, on him. They tell me its quality control and then stare me down.

American Heritage, on the Gallery page, is a crazy quilt project that is an odd size and has quite a story behind it. I've never done a crazy quilt before but I have been looking for something different to stir up the creative juices. I started it just to see if I could do a crazy quilt. The denimn fabric was from a little boy's dress shirt donated by a friend. The fabric with leaves was given to me and oddly enough is from Waverly. I'll go into more detail as I add stitches and embellishments. My cats have also done quality control on this project as well.

Anyway those are the projects I am currently focused on. What are you working on today?
