Thinking about adding some key buttons to The Key Ledger.
The Key Ledger is a finished slow stitching project. It only took a couple of hours to start and finish. It only has a basic running stitch on the fabric to keep them in place. The bottom edge is wavy to resemble old book pages.
I added a feather stitch along this particular seem with a green hand dyed thread. I am planning on adding some silk ribbon roses and beads to honor my grandmother's who liked to garden. I even had one who collected cactus.
I wanted the gingham fabric to look like an apron or dress. So I kept the fringe on the fabric and added a lace embellishment. I then added some chicken scratches to highlight one of my mom's favorite embroideries.
WIP - American Heritage crazy quilt. The denim looking fabric is from a little boy's dress shirt donated by a friend. The solid red fabric was the backing for a candle wicking pillow that I haven't finished yet. The patriotic heart fabric I bought from Walmart last year. The red floral fabric has been in my stash for awhile and is from Waverly. I think it was supposed to be a tablecloth or for outdoor furniture. It has a an interesting texture to it. The gingham I believe I got from my mom.
WIP - It's bound to happen, I made a mistake and had to frog a few sections. Only to find out I was frogging the wrong sections.
WIP - I am currently working on this adorable baby sampler by Bobby G Designs for my granddaughter. It's one of my over 50, I think, WIPs.
WIP - Curiousity adapted from an Amy Brown painting by Heaven and Earth. I think I'm in year 10, just haven't had a place to set up for awhile.
WIP - The Musician designed by Joan Elliott This design is a trio of designs which is perfect as I have 3 kids.
WIP - Birdhouse Neighbors. One birdhouse down and 5 more to go including a church styled birdhouse.
